Profile

Afrocats have been performing African and Caribbean dance at various events and venues in Manchester and Greater Manchester. Through these performances they realised that the participants would like to share their experiences about culture and what they are going or have been through. Afrocats act as an advocate for the arts, especially with their peers and provide an accessible route to both experiencing and watching young people's arts.

Their latest production Where is Home? Nyubani Wapi was a ground breaking cutting edge collaborative performance that involved a mix of refugee and host country young people who came together to create drama, dance and poetry.
