Urban Voice is a multimedia arts organisation. Founded in 2001 the company comprises: Yvonne Shelton, Artistic Director; Tyndale Thomas, Musical Director; and Kadria Thomas, Administrator and Mentor.
Their work involves cultivating a rich heritage of visual arts, music, song and dance specifically but not exclusively of Black origin.

Urban Voice's mission is to inspire, mentor and lead the way in music and song, showing how lives can be affected in a positive and innovative way by melodies that touch the heart and soul.
We want to increase our repertoire and produce a CD featuring key artists work that enlightens audiences… that will help us to develop a legacy of work to be archived and promoted around the world, leading and preparing the way for the next generation.
