Artist's statement
I am a visual artist who documents arts and cultural events and use photography to confront and question any misconceptions about groups, communities or individuals who may be perceived as 'different' in some way, while at the same time valuing diversity. I am aware that many communities have difficulty in accepting one another on a local, regional and international level. This is largely generated by a lack of visibility and creative contact. Through photography and multi media I aim to challenge people's views and misconceptions.
