Artist's statement
I work primarily as a writer. My work is rich and flawed. I like stories which are politically muddy, hard to hear and true.
Having set up my own company Weeding Cane alongside Richard Morgan (Creative Producer) I hope to make more work with creative teams of choreographers, directors, composers, designers, performers and producers who collectively take responsibility for bringing the piece to birth from day one.
